3am Hula Hooping

A few weeks ago I thought it would be a brilliant idea to do some hula hooping around Stratford at 3am. Here's what I was wearing when I did just that!

The black pinafore dress was a gift from my lovely Aunty Jean almost a year ago from Next. It still remains one of my most favourite pieces. I love how easy it is to wear. This time I decided to pair it with a black and white striped long sleeve top from New Look. I am also wearing some dusty pink studded t-bar flats originally from Topshop which I nabbed from a car boot sale for £1 - BARGAIN!! Hula hooping is my new obsession. Even doing it once a day to my favourite song cranked up is doing the trick. Everyone should own one - such a fun way of toning up!

Saying goodbye

Don't worry, I am not saying goodbye to this blog! I'm just saying goodbye to a few pieces of clothing on eBay. About a year ago, I wrote this blog entry featuring an outfit that seemed quite popular. Well today's your lucky day as I am selling the dress here AND the Matthew Williamson shoes here. Here's a little reminder
I also have for a sale a gorgeous red velvet Luella blazer which I am so sad to have to sell. I found it over at Portabello Road Market and just had to buy it, but unfortunately it is slightly too big for me. It's brand new, still with the tags attached and can be seen on the AW 07 catwalk below
If you go way way back to October 2010 you will find this post about spirit day. In it, I am wearing a Henry Holland purple polka dot top which I am also selling here.
The last piece I am going to mention is these shorts. They are from New Look and can be seen on Alexa Chung as part of their advertising campaign a few years ago.
This isn't all that I am selling. You can see the full list of items here. Good luck if you decide to bid and thanks for visiting!

Casino Royale Blue

Last week was my housemate Ednora's birthday, so we celebrated by dining at Cabana followed by drinks in the new Aspers Casino in Westfield Stratford City. It's a very swanky kind of place so we decided to dress up a wee bit. I thought I'd also brave the black lippy. Here's what I wore:

I shall start with the blue velvet boots. It was love at first sight when I saw these beauties in Topshop. Everyone needs some seductive blue velvet in their lives. Next up is my bright blue blazer (try saying that after a few drinks!). I bought it from Zara's sale. For such a bold piece, it actually goes with quite a lot. Fans of New Girl may recognise it.....
They also had it in a hot pink. I would also like to point out to my Mother, if she's reading this; Yes that is a real cigarette in my hand but it was just used as a prop!
And now I'll leave you with this snap of Me and the housemates trying to look all Mad Men-esque.

Square 1 with Bruno Pronsato - A W E S O M E

Last week, Me and some friends went to a secret club night where DJ Bruno Pronsato was playing. It was all very secretive with the venue only being told the day before. It was inside a dingy little basement gallery where there wasn't even a name on the door. It's not usually my type of music but was a great night out. Here's what I wore:

I think my crop top says it all really. I got it in a little clothes boutique in Stratford and features a word that comes out of my mouth way too often. The ruffled body con skirt is from Forever 21, in that lovely berry colour which was seen in my last update. My black Chelsea boots I bought from eBay for around £7 a few years ago and I could easily live in them. They're really comfortable and go with anything! I hope to be back tomorrow with another new look!

I'm Back! (Again - Sorry!!)

Hello guys. Sorry for the lack of posts, uni is getting kind of crazy what with it being my final year. Instead of the usual celebrity updates, I'm going to just use my Lookbook as its quick and easy to do everyday. It also means I get to show off my wardrobe. I am still up for doing 1 or 2 requests, so if you've spotted someone wearing something you absolutely NEED on a smaller budget, just email me a photo of the person to charlotte.olivia.ellis@hotmail.co.uk and I'll do my best to hunt down a cheaper version.

Here's my Lookbook entry from yesterday!

With the British weather pouring down in London yesterday, I decided on a feminine English Gentleman look. It doesn't get more Gentlemanly than brogues and braces, both of which are from Primark. The braces are actually attached to the grey polka dot shorts. My blazer is from H&M and features elbow pads. I adore this blazer as its so easy and comfortable to wear and the berry colour has been very popular all through A/W. The denim shirt is from Matalan and is finished off with a pearly bow brooch; a gift from my very dear friend Jess. Oh! And not forgetting the denim bow headband, also from Primark.

Please feel free to leave any comments, I would love to know what you think and how you would've worn this differently. Thanks!!
