Denim In Crouch End

Alright you lot!

Twice in a week!! This one is from a few weeks ago when I took a trip to Crouch End to check out some of photographer Chris Brock's work in the local gallery, featuring a photo of a certain someone... Here's what I wore.

This look features lots of denim - one of my favs! The dress is vintage from eBay and I've layered it over a striped top from New Look. My denim bow headband is from Primark. Even my shoes were denim!

I bought these beauties a few years ago from River Island. They're super comfy and have been with me on some pretty great adventures.

My handy little rucksack is from Accessorize and can literally fit everything I need and more in it. I'd been wanting a rucksack for a while, so of course the sailor in me had to go for a stripey one!

So back to Chris Brock's photo I had gone to visit. You might recognise someone...

It's me!! So exciting to see me in a gallery, and slightly weird too.

After the gallery, I took a wander around the Thames. It was a beautiful sunny day and I managed to capture some great shots! Enjoy.

It's days like these I remember why I love London, can't imagine living anywhere else...apart from maybe Paris =P

Luscious

Happy Sunday everyone!

I know, I know, I'm being a bad blogger again. Someone needs to invent more hours in a day! Just a quick outfit post this morning. This ones from a few weeks back. Headed into Central with Lukey, where we visited the National Portrait Gallery, ate some jumbo wedges in the very swanky Eleanor's Cocktail Bar inside the Charing Cross Hotel and then wandered around the Victoria Embankment Gardens. The skies were grey but spending time with a great friend always brightens up a dull day :) Here's what I wore.

The stripey cardigan is from H&M, Jamie jeans from Topshop - my favs, and my stripey boyfriend shirt is also from Topshop. What I really love about this shirt, apart from the fact that it's loose and comfy, perfect for those lazy Sundays, but it also features a little red star. I think it gives it a little extra character.

Now for the shoes! They're from Kurt Geiger and feature a gold tiger. Their name? Luscious - and boy are they. Unfortunately they're all sold out online, but Kurt Geiger have plenty more slippers to choose from (how about these blue velvet ones!).
