#BloggersFestival

Evening!

This weekend was very exciting as I had the chance to attend Bloggers Festival; my first ever bloggers event! It was all organised by the wonderful Sarlett Dixon who runs her own blog Scarlett London, and some how I had managed to bag myself an invite (I say some how, I may have badgered her on Twitter...). I was sooooo excited but even more nervous as I'd never really hung out with or even met any other bloggers. I needn't have worried, everyone was so lovely and I even made a few friends who I'll hopefully get to see again.

Before I talk a bit more about the event, here's what I wore (after A LOT of deliberating!).

I finally got the chance to wear my Orla Kiely dress! She is one of my favourite designers, so when I found this on sale for a fraction of the price, I just had to buy it. The cut is just perfect for me, and the black daisies around the collar give it a sailor feel (ahoy!). Such a timeless piece with beautiful details.

As it was a little cooler outside, and looked like it might rain, I decided (last minute) to wear my Scampy Carvela Kurt Geiger boots. They're so comfy (I can dance all night in them) and I love the silver corner pieces, they're so simple, yet make the boots seem a bit more unique.

My sparkly anchor ring was a present from my parents last Christmas. The red ring was actually from a Christmas cracker, paired with my red polka dot nails, which are wraps by Myleene Klass. And not forgetting my glittery satchel from Paperchase (back in stock!).

Last but not least, my hair. I got this pretty vintage clip from Rokit. The black velvet and pearls matched with my dress so perfectly.

Now, back to the main event! We were welcomed with strawberries in champagne and the most amazing views of London, 31 floors high from Paramount in Centre Point. There were loads of brands, including Lee Stafford, Urban Outfitters, Quiz Clothing, Bee Good, Ecco, Minimum Fashion, Want Her Dress, Very, Search Labs, and my favourite, Sweet Pizzas (who brought along their own eye candy to hand out their sweet treats - say hello to Jonny below ;) )! They were all there to chat to us bloggers, tell us what their brand is all about, give us the chance to win prizes through Twitter, and hand out lots of goodies!

I'd like to thank Scarlett for putting on such an amazing event and for giving me the opportunity to attend. I'd also like to mention a few lovely ladies that I met on the day and hope to meet again in the not too distant future; Candy @ Owl-Girl, Angelica @ One Little Vice, Cassy Fry, Natalie @ The Tofu Diaries, Miss Sue Flay and Amanda @ Rhyme and Ribbons.

Be sure to keep a watch over me on Twitter and Instagram, there may be a #BloggersFestival giveaway or two...

Thanks for reading!
