Favourite Looks from the BAFTAs 2015

Tonight was a big night for awards season with a double whammy, starting with The BAFTA's in London, followed by The Grammy's in LA. For this post I'll be sharing with you my favourite red carpet looks from the EE BAFTA's.

1. Anne-Marie Duff

Kicking off my top 15 (picking only 10 was just too hard) is Mrs McAvoy. These guys are the absolute cutest! Her whole look has a real mermaid feel to it with the almost shell like bodice, along with her untamed and plaited hair.

2. Sophie Hunter

The soon-to-be Mrs Cumberbatch kept things pure and simple in this black halter neck tent dress. I'm intrigued by what looks like a big bow detail at the back. I'm desperately hunting for a photo that shows a bit more of this. You'll be the first I share it with!

3. Gugu Mbatha-Raw

The colour of this gown is so pretty and really compliments Gugu's skin tone. The black and silver rope detailing and plain black clutch & nails finish this look perfectly.

4. Keira Knightley

I knew Keira wouldn't disappoint. She's toned down the frills by keeping it monochrome. I'm excited to see how she carries on styling her ever growing baby bump.

5. Felicity Jones

I've always been a fan of Felicity's elegant and classic style. The simple high neckline is timeless, but the little flower embellishments add a modern twist.

6. Lea Seydoux

This vibrant yellow is wonderful and quite rare for red carpet events. It's the perfect shade for Lea as it can be quite difficult for blonde's to wear yellow. I really love the cut of this dress too, with just a little flash of flesh.

7. Laura Haddock

Laura was the belle of the ball in this delicate number. She has finished this look nicely with an effortless updo. I think she looks like a Princess. This may just be my favourite outfit from the evening.

8. Laura Bailey

I adore how simple and refreshing this dress is. Laura has confirmed my love for high necklines. That gold star bag is so chic with the loop handle.

9. Liza Marshall

Liza looks so glam in this striped lacey dress. The satin lining and cutout neckline give it a slight 70's feel, which we all know is going to be big this Spring/Summer!

10. Angela Scanlon

There was a lot of black featured on this years red carpet. Angela's leaf embossed print and asymmetrical hemline give this solid colour some delicacy.

11. Tanya Burr

Tanya looks fab! The cut of this slightly Sixties inspired dress really suits her shape. She's added some sex appeal with the side slit.

12. Nimrat Kaur

I absolutely love the cut and style of this gown, I'm just not so sure on the Barbie pink colour. The cape like sleeves and low neckline are very unusual and the jewels give it some added glitz.

13. Romola Garai

I can see this look not being so popular in other peoples eyes, but for me, this is perfect! Romola looks so comfortable, but the clashing colours inject some fun. She really suits outfits inspired by the 1950s/60s and I have thoroughly enjoyed her wardrobe throughout both series of The Hour.

14. Edith Bowman

Everything about this dress is wonderful; the colour, the lace detail on the bust, the pockets!! There is no need for accessories when a dress like this can do all the talking.

15. Jenna Louise Coleman

The dainty print of this gown is so very Jenna, the flash of flesh, however is something we don't usually get to see. The slight drop of the waist makes the shape of this dress even more intriguing.

Man of the Evening - David Beckham

If there's one man that looks good in a suit it's our beloved Becks. Dawn O'Porter's tweet about how he looks as though 'he's been chiseled out of a pile of sex' sums up his look pretty perfectly...

Couple of the Evening - Eddie Redmayne & Hannah Bagshawe

This was a tough one as there were a lot of cute couples gracing the red carpet this evening, but it had to be Eddie and Hannah. She's wearing the most amazing lace dress (check out that collar!) and he's wearing a midnight blue velvet suit - be still my beating heart!! A match made in heaven. A massive congrats also to Mr Redmayne on bagging the Leading Actor award at tonight's ceremony!!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my favourites from tonight's event. These are my own personal picks, so some of you may not agree. I'd love to hear which looks you loved from the red carpet. Is there anyone you feel I have missed out?

Thanks for reading :)
