Outfit Of The Day

The JOY of Christmas

Last Christmas (I gave you my heart…), I went novelty for my OOTD. This year (to save me from tears… I’ll stop now, promise), I thought I’d dress up a bit as we were going out for dinner. This was the perfect chance to wear my new dress!

Dress // Joy the Store (also available in orange)      Boots // Kurt Geiger      Bag // Skinny Dip

Necklace // Phase Eight*      Tiara // Present

Christmas day was made for wearing skater dresses (or ideally pyjamas!) as they’re perfect for hiding when you’ve eaten too much, and let’s admit it, we all ate too much! I snapped up this green beauty in a Joy sale a couple of months back and had been saving it for a special occasion. I ruddy love Joy and their wonderful dresses! They have the perfect balance of vintage and modern – so very me! As my dress was a single colour and non-patterned, I spruced it up with my sparkly tights. The silver helped tie in with my boots, bag, tiara and necklace. *I won this beautiful piece of jewellery on Twitter from Phase Eight. It’s perfect for adding detail to a plain jumper/top/dress.

Our Christmas dinner was scrumptious, especially my white forest cheesecake. I also enjoyed a yummy mulled wine before we were seated at our table.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing at home, playing with my Mum’s new kitten, Dexter.

You’ve probably already spotted this little cutie bombarding my Instagram. He is absolutely adorable, and seems to love the camera a bit more than my Mum’s other cat, London…

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a massive thank you for all your comments and likes this year.

Wishing you all a truly fabulous New Year!
