Amsterdam is finally booked for next month with The Boyf! I’ve never been so I’m looking forward to having James as my tour guide for the weekend. We’ll be staying in a really cool apartment that I found on Airbnb which I can’t wait to show you guys after our trip!! If anyone has any tips for us, please do let me know in the comments below.

Happy Birthday Milky!

Pizza Union London Food Blogger

Friday night we celebrated Milly’s birthday with cocktails at Be @ One followed by absolutely delicious pizza at my very first visit to Pizza Union. This might just be my new favourite pizza joint in London and I’ll definitely be re-visiting a lot more!

Miss Vintage UK

Secret Cinema Back to the Future Miss Vintage UK 2016 Twinwood Festival

Last year I entered Twinwood’s Miss Vintage UK and came very close to getting into the Judges round, so I thought I’d give it another go this year! Voting is easy. All you need to do like my photo on their Facebook page – that’s it! No need to like their page or sign up for silly emails. Feel free to share it on your own walls too. I think I’m going to need all the votes I can get!!

Playing London Tour Guide

View of London City from the Bridge to Waterloo, Travel Blogger

On Saturday my oldest and dearest friend Brendan came down from Luton, so I got to play London tour guide. I took him to see all the sights, including Piccadilly, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and The London Eye. We then took the bridge across the river to Waterloo where we gazed at one of my favourite views of the London skyline. I bloody love this city!

Ascot with Appletiser

Racecourse with Appletiser Horse Racing Bet Place Cocktail

Erica, Milly & I had a mini Bangarang day trip down to Ascot. We had been invited to join Appletiser in their private box for our own cocktail class with artisan barman Rich Woods, AKA The Cocktail Guy, who taught us how to make 3 different cocktails which all involved using Appletiser, as well as letting us loose to make our own alcoholic concoction. We had such a great day and got very merry indeed – well we did start drinking gin (mojito for me) in a tin at 10am on the train down there! I even managed to make a little win on a bet. All in all, a ruddy fab day which I’ll have a full post about up here soon.

So that was my week. Show me your favourite moments over the last 7 days by using#HumpDayHigh5 across Twitter and Instagram!

See what I got up to in last week’s Hump Day High 5! Don’t forget to join in with Jasmin’s Happiness Link Up!

  1. So fun! You’ll LOOOOOOOOOVE Amsterdam. I HIGHLY recommend taking a boat tour around the city. With family being Western European tour guides, we like to find ways to relax and see the city. It’s the perfect way to get out and about without the noise of the crowds.

    Enjoy your stay! 🙂
