Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

Most of this week’s Hump Day High 5 is from my weekend trip to Copenhagen. I had a fab time and will be posting all about it soon, but for now, here are some of my favourite bits!

Glass Animals @ ICA

I’d last seen Glass Animals back in 2014, so it was really great to welcome them back after they’d gone a little quiet. They’re back with some new stuff which is sounding pretty awesome! The boys were in high spirits and you could tell they were excited to show off this fresh new material. I can’t wait for the new album to drop!

Rio Bravo, Copenhagen

Our first meal in Copenhagen was a corker! We ate at Rio Bravo, a restaurant kitted out with cowboy and ranch interiors. Instead of bar stools there was a row of saddles by the bar, and mini wooden barrels used as light shades. I only went for a light bite but the portion was so big I couldn’t even finish it all. I’d never seen so much salmon on one plate!! Really delicious food too. I’d definitely recommend if you’re heading to Copenhagen as it’s quite central too.

Nyhavn, Copenhagen

I love a canal, and Copenhagen did not disappoint! Nyhavn is vibrant, and not just in colour. It’s such a lively area of Copenhagen with people sat along the river drinking, or seated at the various restaurants’ outdoor tables lining the streets. We hopped on one of the boat tours to take in the rest of the Danish city’s waterways.

Ravelinen, Copenhagen

For our last night in Copenhagen we ate at Ravelinen, a sweet restaurant just on the outskirts of the city centre. The restaurant is sat right by the lake, so you can imagine the beautiful views we had. The food was pretty amazing too, with my Aunty saying numerous times it was the best meal she had had in a looooong time.

Secret Date Night

Hitchcock's Vertigo in 70mm at Prince Charles Cinema London Blog Blogger

Monday night I was treated to a secret date night. We started with dinner at Ed’s Diner, followed by a cheeky pint at Waxy O’Connor’s, and ending with a screening of Vertigo in 70mm at The Prince Charles Cinema. I LOVE surprises. They are my favourite thing, ever! I don’t even just mean receiving surprises. I love to plan surprises too!

See what I got up to last week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5 moments from the past 7 days?
