I’d recently been contacted by online fashion site Gamiss to write up a little review of some of their pieces. I was given a budget of $50 to spend on their site. This was to include postage to the UK which was around $12. So, I had around $38 left. A lot of the pieces that I wanted I couldn’t order as their dispatch time was too long, so it’s worth checking the little clock above each item description.
Here are my 3 choices.
Sexy Strappy Short Sleeve Button Top For Women
This cut out shoulder top costs $8.95. After checking the size guide, I decided to go for a size M. It fits me perfectly, and I love that it’s quite loose on me too. The only thing is that the little straps need to be sewn more in towards my neck as it feels like they join the top too far out by my shoulders and so do fall down a bit, but it’s not too annoying and can easily be rectified. Apart from that, this top is perfect! I love the colour and it’s made out of a light, soft cotton like material and didn’t need any ironing when I unpacked it, which is great as my iron has gone walkies since I moved, so excuse the creases in the next two…
Bohemian Strappy Polka Dot Baggy Maxi Dress For Women
I don’t tend to really go for maxi dresses much as they all mostly seem to have some sort of fit and end up clinging to all my flabby bits. This one, however, looked like it would be nice and loose, plus, POCKETS!! For this one I went for a size L, but probably could’ve done with a Medium actually as it’s a little too loose on the sides. It’s super light and comfortable, and POCKETS(!), although one of them needs a bit of resowing, but for only $13.63 I can’t really complain! I think this would also look great layered over a white t-shirt or even a chiffon blouse. I could also give this some wear over the colder months by throwing a fluffy jumper over the top and pairing with some boots.
Bohemian Plunging Neck Printing Lace Up Dress For Women
I really love this dress, which is only $15.64. Originally I wanted to get a size L but they were out of stock, so I thought I’d give a M a go as I could see that it had a tie at the back and under the bust so I could adjust it to fit me better. I’m always a little weary ordering short dresses online, especially from China, but I knew this would still look great if I had to wear it with leggings, or even as a long top over some black jeans. Thankfully it’s not too short so I can get away with wearing it without any tights.
Overall, I’m really happy with all 3 items! I also found the site super easy to use too and it was really handy having the dispatch times stated on each page. I’d definitely recommend Gamiss if you’re looking for some inexpensive new holiday clothes. You can also get 13% off your first order with code HIGAMISS.
Let me know what you go for!
