I have had quite the week of more panic attacks and meltdowns, but last night I finally booked in my 1st counselling session for next week. I am so ready for this! I am not ready, however, for the giant moth that has taken refuge right outside my bedroom door!! Seriously, last week it was a wasp in my room, and now a monster moth!
Anyway, here’s this week’s Hump Day High 5!
On Saturday I was invited along by Yelp to the MexiFest that had taken over a little corner of Old Spitalfields Market. We had to check in using the app in order to get our VIP wristbands which would get us some free samples from each stall, only this didn’t quite happen. The first stall we stopped at didn’t seem to be doing any free samples and James was starving so he just went ahead and ordered some tacos. We DID, however, get some free samples from the Paleta Girls who gave us each a yummy ice lolly made from fresh strawberries.
#SquadGoals @ Supercuts Bluewater
I was very popular on Saturday as I was also invited along to Supercuts in Bluewater for an evening of pampering and prosecco. We had our hair washed, trimmed and blow dried, and by the end we felt, and looked, fabulous!
Red Roar Festival @ Leo’s Red Lion in Gravesend
It had been a while since I’d seen the Red Hook boys play live (not counting me tagging along to their band practice) so I couldn’t wait to get down to Leo’s in Gravesend with the rest of his family. They’re playing again tonight at the Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden. See you there?!
Watching the boys rock out was all very tiring so I was very happy to get some scrumptious Victoria sponge with lashings of cream, of course, at James’s Nan’s. Just what I needed!

I’m determined to catch-up with all of Gilmore Girls before the new series comes in November so any free time I have at home has been spent glued to Netflix. I love this show and can’t wait for it’s comeback!
See what I got up to last week.
