Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

This past week seems to have whizzed by! After 3 weeks off, I finally started back at work on Monday and have had plenty of work to catch up on to keep me busy. ANYWAY, enough about work! Here are this week’s best bits.

River Sunset

On Wednesday evening I made the journey down to Cutty Sark for an event which I’ll talk about below. I arrived just in time to catch this beautiful sunset by the river. It’s times like these that remind me why I love this city.

Fuller’s Secret Supper

So, the reason I was down by Cutty Sark was for a secret supper at one of Fuller’s Kitchens at The Sail Loft. We got to try a selection of starters, pick our own main each, and then share some of the desserts they have on offer. It was such a lovely evening with beautiful views across the river, not to mention the absolutely delicious food! I’ll have a full report on the evening here on the blog very soon.

London Wander

To get myself back out and about, and ready for my return to work this week, I took a little trip into central London for a wander around. My main reason for venturing out was to find my Mum a birthday card and present, and to buy myself a new Sudoku book. I also managed to take a few pretty snaps along the way, some of which you may have already seen on Instagram.

Hometown Visitors

This weekend I had 2 of my hometown friends come and visit from Luton. We went to Tinseltown for takeaway burgers and milkshakes, and settled in under a nice warm blanket and watched Spiceworld. So much nostalgia! I was THE biggest Spice Girl fan when I was little.

Valentines Park

On Sunday we woke up hungry so decided to get some pastry treats and juice, and take them over to Valentine’s Park for a mini picnic. The park was very lively with some live music outside the café, and we spotted lots of squirrels bouncing around the place too!

So, that was my week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5’s?

Check out last week’s post.
