Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

Time is whizzing by SO QUICKLY!! Halloween is next week, followed by bonfire night and then before you know it, it’ll be Christmas (even more importantly before that, MY BIRTHDAY!). Anyway, here’s what I got up to this week.

The Correspondents @ Village Underground

The Correspondents Band Live at Village Underground London Music Blog Blogger

As I’m feeling much better and not having any more panic attacks, I thought it was about time I got back on Jukely (use code JUKECE1 for £10 off your first month) I grabbed passes to see The Correspondents play Village Underground. Their music is difficult to describe; kind of a mixture of jungle and jazz. One thing is for certain. Their live shows are so much fun!!

Brendan’s Birthday

Minions Birthday Cake

Saturday night I was in Luton to celebrate my oldest and dearest friend, Brendan’s birthday. We had dinner at The Brache where Brendan was presented with a surprise Minion cake. I love our Luton catch-ups. They’re always such a laugh!

Rushmere Country Park

Rushmere Country Park Nature Forest Walk

The next day Jess picked me up and took me out on an adventure. After getting a wee bit lost on the way we eventually got to Rushmere Country Park. We had a lovely autumn walk through the forest, hunting down cool carved chairs and cute little fairy doors. Little Roxy got a lot of attention from fellow dog walkers and she loved running through the leaves, the colours were beautiful. We had such a lovely day and I can’t wait to go back!

Aussie Julie Catch-up

Dinner at Las Iguanas London Food Blog Blogger

I caught up with my friend Julie on Monday night over ALL the food at Las Iguanas. We went for the 5 tapas deal, opting for nachos, Dadinhos, brie and mango empanadas, calamari and garlicky mushroom quesadillas, and it was all delicious! Julie is originally from Australia but has spent the past couple of months travelling around Europe. I’ve loved following her adventures on Snapchat (atravellingsoul) and can’t wait to read all her posts on her blog about her big trip.

Date Night In

black mirror

Last night James & I had his house to ourselves, so we got in the pizzas and settled down on the sofa and I introduced him to the first series of Black Mirror. He loved it. It’s such an unnerving show and I can’t wait to get stuck into series 3!

So, that was my week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5’s?

Check out last week’s post.
