Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

Ello, and welcome to this week’s Hump Day High 5. Can you believe it’s less than 4 weeks to Christmas!! I can’t wait! Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to over the past 7 days.

London Christmas Lights

James & I went to see Batman at the Prince Charles Cinema Wednesday night, but we had a couple of hours spare so wandered around the different Christmas light displays around London. We started in Covent Garden, followed by Seven Dials, then Regent Street and finally Carnaby Street. My favourite this year is definitely Regent Street’s The Spirit of Christmas. Oh-so pretty!

Shinola Thanksgiving Party

My friend Beth invited me along as her +1 to a Thanksgiving party at Shinola’s Soho store, just off Carnaby Street. We were treated to free drinks, nibbles (hello pumpkin doughnuts!) and even a free journal decorated by lettering artist Oli Frape.

HAPPY GILMORE GIRLS DAY

Gilmore Girls Revival Day Pop Tarts Sweet Pizza and Coffee Coke Cola

Friday saw the return of Gilmore Girls. I had the day booked off work especially and so headed over to my brother’s to watch all 4 episodes whilst scoffing on Pop Tarts, pizza and ice cream. Don’t be fooled by the ‘coffee’. It’s actually Coke Cola as neither of us like coffee.

Black Friday Travel deals!

Luxembourg City Travel Blog Blogger

I managed to get some good travel deals over Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Me and some of the Bangarang girls are off to Bucharest in February! Also in February, James & I are off to Luxembourg! Our flights were only £57 return, for the both of us! What a bargain. I’ve been to Luxembourg before but James hasn’t, so I’m looking forward to showing him around, and I get to see 2 of my friends who live there too over that weekend! Visiting Amy

Amazing Amy

James & I finally visited Amy’s final resting place over the weekend, and my what a beautiful spot she has. The sun was shining, brilliantly and her little patch was so colourful with pretty flowers. I let off a seed bomb full of Forget-me-not seeds and I’m hoping they’ll still flourish in these colder months. Fingers crossed.

So, that was my week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5’s?

Check out last week’s post.
