Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

I only realised it was Tuesday yesterday about half an hour before I was about to head out for the evening when it hit me that I hadn’t even started my #HumpDayHigh5 ready for this morning!! Luckily I managed to get back at a reasonable time, so here we have today’s High 5!

Work Team Building

Work Christmas Admin Team Building

Last week at work involved a lot of food. On Wednesday we had our Christmas dinner made by the kitchen staff in our work canteen. This was followed by our team building which was basically a meal for all the admin team at Brewers Fayre. Food, food, and even more food!

Yellowcard @ Brooklyn Bowl

Yellowcard Final UK Europe Live Show at Brooklyn Bowl London Music Blog Blogger

One of my birthday presents from James was tickets to Yellowcard‘s final ever UK show. We headed to Brooklyn Bowl in time to catch The Kenneths support slot. We also found ourselves a Milly at the gig so the 3 of us drank, sang and got lost in the crowd to Ocean Avenue. It was such an amazing gig and I’m so sad it was my first and last ever time seeing them live.

Christmas Day

How could I not mention Christmas Day?! I went back home to Luton to spend the day with my Mum, Dad & Brother, and also my Nan, who had come over from Ireland. We opened ALL the presents, drank ALL the prosecco and ate ALL the food when we went to the Biscot Mill for Crimbo dinner, and it was the biggest plate of food I have ever been served!

Boxing Day

Boxing Day Christmas Reindeer Family Fun Game

Our Boxing Day tradition is a day spent with family at my Aunty’s house in West London. She puts on a spread of food, we drink lots of booze and play fun games. This year was no different.

Snow White Christmas Panto Pantomime The Orchard Theatre Dartford

I’ve managed to get in on 1 of James’s family traditions – PANTO! Every year his Nan buys a tonne of tickets to the pantomime at The Orchard theatre in Dartford. This year it was Snow White which starred Joe Pasquale, who I absolutely LOVE! Who doesn’t love a good panto?

So, that was my week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5’s?

Check out last week’s post.
