An Apricot Christmas

For Christmas Day, I always like to wear something new. I’d ordered a few bits from the Apricot sale about a week before which had thankfully arrived in time for the big day! Here’s what I wore.

Dress // Apricot*      Shoes // Office      Socks // New Look      Necklace // Present

This dress usually retails at £22 but in the Apricot sale, it’s only £15! I’ve mentioned before my love of the blue and black colour combination, so this dress was made for me. I love the loose cut as I’ve got long skinny limbs but a bit of a squidgy middle, so that’s why you don’t tend to see me wearing tight clothing. I’m a size 8-10 and chose a size 10. It was perfect for hiding my overstuffed tummy after Crimbo dinner. The only downside to this dress is that the pattern on the front is upside down, but it’s such a small pattern, it’s not actually noticeable unless pointed out.

I’ve paired the dress with my black suede midi heels that I picked up from Office as part of my year’s supply of shoes prize that I won earlier this year. I added just a dash of more blue with my sparkly socks. My look was finished with this super cute sloth necklace that I got that morning from my parents.

I’m looking forward to getting plenty of wear out of this dress as it’s the type of frock that can be easily dressed up with heels and sparkly jewellery or dressed down with boots and a comfy cardy.

Keep your eyes peeled for a couple of other items I picked up in the Apricot sale!

* I was sent this dress for free through Type the Hype, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
