Apricot Stripes

We all know I’m a fan of stripes, but today’s outfit is a little different to my usual blue.

Tights // Primark      Headband // Warner Brothers Studio Shop

This is another dress from Apricot’s sale. The orange stripes are subtle enough that I knew I could whip out my burnt orange tights. It usually retails at £29 but in the sale I got it for £15. I’m wearing a size 10 and as you can see, it fits me wonderfully.

I love the shape and how it just skims over my hips. I also like that it’s not over-patterned, so I could wear a statement necklace without it looking too busy. There are also future plans to layer it over a black chiffon shirt too. I decided to stick with the 60s style and added my Orla Kiely for Clarks black heels. My Gryffindor headband goes quite well with this look too! James bought me it for my birthday a few weeks ago.

Don’t forget to check out my Christmas and Million Dollar Quartet OOTD to see what else I picked up from the Apricot sale!

* I was sent this dress for free through Type the Hype, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
