Hump Day High 5

Hump Day High 5!

Hello, and welcome to this week’s #HumpDayHigh5! I’m off to Sofia with Charlie this weekend so I had a more relaxed weekend in last Saturday & Sunday. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram to see our adventures! Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to over the past 7 days.

I had a brilliant Hump Day last week when I was invited along to the #TrekAmerica360 event at Ninth Ward. The setting for the event was perfect, so kudos to Milly for finding it! We got to have a 360 look at Trek America‘s tours through their virtual reality stations. We were also given fake money and passports as we entered. The money could be used towards the mini casino they had setup in the corner. As well as all this, we were also treated to drinks, food and some fab live music from Loose Change. All in all, an absolutely fantastic night!

Live Music at The Monarch

I’m determined to get to more gigs, so when I spotted my mate Sena’s band, Rale, were playing a free gig in Camden on Thursday night, I couldn’t say no! It was my first time seeing Rale live and they were brilliant! I’ll definitely be heading to their next London gig!

Over the weekend, I finally set up my Depop (again). I spent Saturday & most of Sunday photographing a load of clothing and shoes that are all looking for new homes and I’ll be adding loads more. You can find me via @captaincharleyy. If you don’t have Depop, you can comment on any of my items on my shop Instagram page. I’ve also got a couple of bits on eBay too.

Sunday Roast

Sunday afternoon Kev came over and treated me to a roast at The Golden Lion just down the road. After we had eaten we played a couple of rounds of Guess Who before Markus Michelucci & Sound Refuge took to the stage (well, corner of the pub), to play some lovely songs. Apparently, he’s there every 2 weeks so I’ll definitely be heading back in a fortnights time!

Wine Tasting

Monday night was wine night as a couple of the girls & I headed to Pidgin in Hackney for Divino in Vino’s “Indigenous Only” workshop in wine tasting. Our host Silvia, talked us through 6 wines in total, 3 white (1 of those sparkling), and 3 red. I do love me a glass of wine, but I don’t actually know much about the different types, so it was great to hear about just how different cava, prosecco and champagne are. The next Divino in Vino event is being held at Bedales and is well worth grabbing a ticket to!

So, that was my week. What have been your #HumpDayHigh5’s?

Check out last week’s post.
