It’s been a pretty stressful week as I’ve had a poorly kitty so have had to make various trips to the vet, not to mention being sat at work worrying about little Ringo. Thankfully he seems to be on the mend now. He’s sat, curled up on my lap as I write.
Thursday after work I met James for an early dinner at Leadbelly’s. It had been such a tiring week but a classic dish of fish and chips was just what I needed, and goodness was it a big serving of fish!
Relaxing Weekend with Ringo
I say ‘relaxing’ but what with him being ill it was a teeny bit nerve-wracking, especially when he decided to stop eating on Sunday! Regardless, we had plenty of cuddles on the sofa watching A Young Doctor’s Notebook. Mmmm-hmmm Jon Hammmmmmm.
Revival Vintage had put a call out on Facebook looking for someone to style this ‘granny dress’. I of course volunteered, so spent Sunday morning styling it into the perfect outfit. I’ll have a full post of it on the blog later this week, so keep your eyes peeled!
This week saw the return of Twin Peaks after 25 years. Not gonna lie, I’ve not a clue what the hell is going on, but for some reason I can’t not watch! It was great to see so many of the original characters back, and I’m intrigued to find out more about the new ones. Here’s me in my best Audrey Horne get-up from the Twin Peaks pop-up bar nearly 2 years ago!
Mayow Veterinary Surgery
A big shout out goes to the guys at Mayow Veterinary Surgery, especially Adam, for the amazing care of Ringo. As a 1st time kitty mum they’ve offered some great advice and made me feel very comfortable leaving Ringo in their care yesterday. He’s back home and on the mend now, but I’m so thankful for all their help.
Check out last week’s post.
