Wingz

We all love a good sleeve, and I’m sure we’ve all got plenty of items that we think would look perfect with sleeves, but not all the time. Well, let me introduce you to Wingz.

Sleeves // Wings*      Dress // Vero Moda      Shoes // Office      Socks // New Look

If you’re a Dragons’ Den fan, then you may already be familiar with these. Wingz are basically sleeves that can be worn underneath literally anything to give your outfit added sleeves. They’re really easy to wear, kinda like a tiny crop top. It’s just sleeves connected to some elasticated cotton that goes around the back and under the chest. This makes them very discreet to wear underneath dresses and tops. It also doesn’t feel like you’re wearing another layer of clothing, just some extra material on your bare arms. They come in a variety of materials – like viscose, chiffon and lace; lengths – full, 3/4 and half; and styles – fitted stretch, flared and split. Most of the colours are the same for each with mainly black, white and nude, but you’ll find a couple of patterned and brighter coloured ones. I’ve gone for a black chiffon flare pair.

These added sleeves got great with this dress as it’s also made of chiffon and they match with the black collar. They really do transform an outfit! I’m really loving the length of these flared sleeves too. They didn’t get in the way of eating dinner – WIN! They’re also really, very comfortable to wear. The elastic inside isn’t tight so it’s easy to forget you’re wearing them, plus no one else will be able to tell either! Most of them retail between £15-20 but you’ll find some for just £9.99 in their current sale. I’ve lots more ideas of what to wear these with, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing plenty of them here on the blog.

* I was sent these Wingz for free, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
