It’s been a busy couple of weeks, but it’s starting to slow down a bit, and I’m very thankful for some extra me time. Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to over the past 7 days!
I love finding colour in the most unexpected of places, but I really was not expecting to find this whilst on our way to dinner through Forest Hill. A floating Cupid statue caught my eye, and as I walked around the corner down a little back street, I was surprised to find this bright and colourful mural.
Cafe Rouge New Menu
On Wednesday I was invited along to visit the newly refurbished Cafe Rouge in Dulwich. We got to try the new summer menu in the sunshine in their secret garden. I’ll have a full report here on the blog very soon, but until then, make sure you try their chocolate mousse – DIVINE!
The Killers @ BST Hyde Park
British Summer Time is one of my favourite festivals. This year I managed to get tickets to see The Killers. It had been 4 years since they last played in London, and they sure did put on one hell of a show. I was very happy to hear a lot of numbers from Sam’s Town, an album which celebrated 10 years since it’s release this year. Fingers crossed I’ll be seeing them again in November when they tour their new album!
Dinner at The Gipsy Moth
We have some of our work family over from the office in South Africa, so we celebrated with dinner in Greenwich at The Gipsy Moth. As I couldn’t decide between the sweet chicken lollipops, creamy mushrooms on sourdough or king prawns with a kick, I was a little piggy and went for all 3!
James is off to Santorini for a week (jammy sod – not jealous, at all….) so we went for a quick drink over our lunch break. As much as I’m going to miss having him about, I’m very much looking forward to having a nice quiet weekend in, catching up on some life admin. Make sure you keep an eye on my eBay too, as I’ve plenty more clothes and shoes to come!
Check out last week’s post.
