Outfit Of The Day

Brighton Pier

This weekend James & I headed to Brighton for our 1st visit to the seaside town together. We picked a great day for the beach as we were blessed with glorious sunshine on Saturday. I’ve got a feeling it might be the last of the summer sun for this year. It was the perfect opportunity to wear my new top!

Top // Monteau from TK Maxx      Trousers // Dorothy Perkins      Trainers // Converse      Sunglasses // Vintage from Snooper’s Paradise

I picked up this top last week from TK Maxx. It was a little weird as the size medium was a bit too big but only cost £4 so instead I had to get a size small which cost me £2 extra, and online it’s £9, so you’re probably best off finding one in your nearest store. Still, it’s so pretty and definitely worth the extra 2 quid, though the small is still a little loose under my armpits.

I’ve gone for a casual day look and worn my beige capris and peach converse, which go perfectly with the pale orange flowers of my top. I actually bought these vintage pastel pink sunnies from Snooper’s Paradise in Brighton a few years ago, so it was lovely for them to come back home. Talking of Snooper’s we played our favourite game, something that we play any time we find ourselves in a market. We give ourselves a certain amount of time to hunt down the best gift for £5 for each other. James got me a vintage Beatles magazine and a prosecco magnet, but I think I definitely won when I found him a pineapple egg timer! Snooper’s is just a treasure trove of random things. It’s a must visit when in Brighton. You never know what you might find!
