Just over a week ago, James & I took a little trip to Southampton. Whilst there, I found an amazing little vintage shop called Beatnik Emporium, where I tried on half the store, of course. Even James bought himself a cool Hawaiian shirt, but here’s 1 of the dresses I picked up!
I’ve been wanting some longer dresses, so when I tried on this beaut, and found that it not only fit me perfectly, but it was only £10, I knew it had to be mine! I really like that the seam where the top meets the skirt is quite high as it skims over my tummy, something that I’m quite self-conscious about. It’s got a tie back waist too, which gives it more shape. Of course, though, it’s the colours and tulip pattern that really caught my attention.
Blue and yellow are too of my favourite and most worn colours, so I’ve plenty to mix and match with this dress. My yellow Converse were definitely going to be the 1st pieces to be worn with it! My emoji bag added a nice, fun touch too.
As a lot of my outfits feature second-hand, vintage, and past season pieces, I’m going to start sharing some current similar items. Just click the photos to shop. Any affiliate links will be disclosed. Happy shopping!
