Last week I was invited along to a Bloggers Breakfast put on by luxury fashion site Farfetch. They’d asked just a handful of us bloggers to join them to talk all things blogging over some delicious food and drinks. Thankfully I already had one friend there in the form of a newly bright pink dyed Milly!
Farfetch couldn’t have chosen a nicer venue for the bloggers breakfast. They’d booked us a table up on the rooftop of Boundary. We had gorgeous views of East London surrounded by their simple but oh-so pretty decor of wooden tables, white chairs, potted plants (even a real orange tree!) and huge floor-to-ceiling glass windows. This is a great place, not just as a hip summer hang out, but would also be fab in the colder months too as it has a glass ceiling and the big windows can be closed. So, you’d still get the great views with the added bonus of warmth (with the help of extra blankets).
All settled in our comfy seats, it was time to order some brekkie!
As I’m not a tea or coffee drinker I went for a hot chocolate by Maison Pierre Marcolini. Sounds posh, right? It tasted absolutely beautiful! I loved the 3 extra mini drops of chocolate too. I ordered an orange juice as well, mainly because hot chocolate makes me super sleepy, so I needed a bit of zing to wake me back up again. For my food choice, it had to be the scrambled eggs and salmon, and it was deeelish! The salmon practically melted in my mouth.
We had a lovely chit-chat. We got to find out more about who Farfetch are (they offer over 400 boutiques all on their website!), and got to talk about our own sites and how we each prefer to work with brands.
Before we said goodbye, we were given some very exciting goody bags so keep your eyes on the blog as I’ll be showcasing what I got very soon!
A big thank you to Farfetch for inviting me to find out more about their brand, and a thank you (and a see you soon) to Boundary for the delicious breakfast and wonderful scenery.
