A walking tour of London full of bullshit facts. What’s the point, right? Well I headed to St Paul’s to meet a very sparkly tour guide to find out!
There’s a London tour for everything these days. From street art to Harry Potter, there’s a walking tour for everyone, but this is something completely different. Bullshit London offer tours around the capital where most of the facts are completely made up. There are some true pieces of information told on the tours, though you’ll have to work out which ones these are for yourself. I didn’t think it would really work, but actually, it was a lot of fun!
It was kind of like a moving comedy show. A lot of the ‘facts’ and stories were a play on the names of places and buildings around the stops we made. I quite liked that it took us off the beaten track, so I got to see some parts of London that I otherwise would never have ventured to. This almost definitely isn’t a tour for tourists, but it would make for a fun activity as part of a hen or stag do.
Now, since I took part in this tour last week, Bullshit London have since announced that 2018 will be their final year of tours, but with a promise to come back in a ‘shittier form’. Until then, you can grab tickets to one of their last planned tours, or you can even make a private booking.
* I was invited to a Bullshit London Tour for free through Love Pop Ups – London, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
