Khaki is set to be a big trend this spring/summer, so when I spotted this zipped beauty from Apricot, I knew I had to have it!
I was a little worried this skirt might be a bit too tight for me, but actually it’s very comfortable to wear. I went for a size 8 as last time I ordered a skirt from Apricot I got a size 10 and it was a little on the loose side. The material is thick enough that it doesn’t quite show the line of my underwear, which is GREAT!
I’ve paired it with this cat print H&M top that I picked up during my big charity shopping trip. I bought it from Cancer Research for just £3.75. I’ve got a fab purple denim skirt that would also go great with this top. The cardi was a little something I picked up whilst in Bucharest from the cutest little clothing shop. I bought myself quite a few pieces from there. It was only 50 lei, which is the equivalent of around a tenner. I’ve finished the look with my favourite boots. I got these from Absolute Vintage a good few years ago and they’re still going strong, although I did have to get the sole repaired and replaced the laces last week.
How are you wearing the khaki trend?
* I was sent this skirt for free through Type the Hype, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
