Last month, myself and some of the Bangarang girls were invited down to Cornwall for 2 nights with Travelodge. One Friday around lunch time, Me, Ashleigh and Leanne bundled ourselves into Jasmin’s car as she had very kindly agreed to drive over the weekend, and made our long journey to St Austell.
A night with Travelodge can always guarantee you 2 things; a clean room, and a comfy bed. You can even order the same mattress that they use in all their rooms, so you can get a comfy nights sleep back at home too. We were given 2 spacious family rooms, each with a large king size bed, desk, TV, ensuite bathroom with shower, plus a single bed. I bunked with Ashleigh whilst Leanne & Jasmin took the room next door.
We arrived around 8pm, checked-in, dumped our bags in our rooms and headed out in search of food. There were mostly chain restaurants nearby, so we settled on Frankie & Benny’s, where I had an amazing freakshake! Bellys full, we headed back to our rooms for an early night (after a pillow fight, of course!), ready for plenty of exploring over the next 2 days!
We managed to fit in A LOT in less than 48 hours, so I’ve split what we actually got up to into another post coming very soon!
* I was given free accommodation and money towards travel, but rest assured, all words and opinions are my own 🙂
Pin it for later!
